What do these Terms cover?
These Terms govern your access to and use of the public Alkeme AI Website, including its pages, Content, forms, and other publicly available features.
For purposes of these Terms:
- Website means the public website operated under the Alkeme AI name, including its publicly accessible pages and features.
- Platform means the authenticated Alkeme AI insurance intelligence platform, its permissioned data environments, and its embedded brokerage workflows.
- Content means text, graphics, interfaces, demonstrations, documentation, logos, software, and other materials made available through the Website.
- You means the individual accessing the Website and, when applicable, the organization on whose behalf that individual acts.
These Terms do not, by themselves, govern an authenticated Platform account. Platform access may be subject to an order form, subscription agreement, master services agreement, in-product terms, data agreement, or other written agreement. If a separate agreement applies, it controls Platform use and prevails over these Terms if there is a conflict concerning the Platform.
By accessing or using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Website. If you act for an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.
Who may access and use the Website?
You may use the Website only if you can enter into a binding agreement and your use is not prohibited by applicable law.
You are responsible for the devices, network connections, and security measures you use to access the Website. You must provide accurate information when a Website feature asks for it and must not misrepresent your identity, authority, affiliation, or intended use.
A limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right is granted to access the Website for lawful informational, evaluation, and authorized business purposes. No other right or license is granted except as expressly stated in these Terms.
What is acceptable use of the Website?
Acceptable use means using the Website lawfully, respecting its security and intellectual property, and avoiding conduct that could harm Alkeme AI, its users, or third parties.
You must not:
- Use the Website to violate a law, regulation, court order, contractual duty, privacy right, or intellectual property right.
- Attempt to bypass authentication, access controls, rate limits, or other technical safeguards.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Website without prior written authorization.
- Introduce malware, harmful code, corrupted files, or other material intended to disrupt or compromise systems or data.
- Interfere with the Website's operation or place an unreasonable load on its infrastructure.
- Access or collect Website Content through scraping, crawling, data mining, or other automated means, except through standard search-engine indexing that follows published technical instructions or with prior written authorization.
- Copy, modify, reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit Website Content except as permitted by law or authorized in writing.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code from Website software except where that restriction is prohibited by law.
- Impersonate another person or organization, conceal the source of a communication, or provide misleading information.
- Use the Website to develop, train, benchmark, or improve a competing product or model without prior written permission.
- Submit confidential client information, policyholder data, protected health information, credentials, or other sensitive data through a general Website form unless Alkeme AI specifically requests and authorizes that submission.
Alkeme AI may investigate suspected misuse and take reasonable steps to protect the Website, its users, and its legal rights. Any restriction or enforcement action will remain subject to applicable law and any controlling written agreement.
Who owns the Website and its Content?
Alkeme AI and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the Website, Platform, Content, software, designs, documentation, and related intellectual property.
The Alkeme AI name, logos, product names, and other brand elements may be trademarks or protected materials. You may not use them in a way that suggests sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation without prior written permission.
You may view and use Website Content only for the purposes permitted by these Terms. No ownership right transfers to you, and no license is granted by implication, estoppel, or otherwise. Rights not expressly granted are reserved.
If you voluntarily provide ideas, suggestions, or general feedback about the Website or Platform, Alkeme AI may use that feedback without restriction or compensation. Do not include confidential information or third-party material in feedback unless you are authorized to provide it.
How is information submitted through the Website handled?
Information submitted through Website forms is handled according to the applicable form purpose and the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the authority and any required consent to submit information. You must not upload content that is unlawful, misleading, infringing, malicious, or outside the purpose of the relevant form.
The Website is not a substitute for an authorized Platform workflow or another approved channel for exchanging client, policy, claims, or other regulated information. Follow your organization's privacy, security, recordkeeping, and data-handling requirements.
How are third-party services and links treated?
Third-party websites, services, integrations, or resources are governed by their own terms and policies, not these Terms.
A link or reference does not necessarily mean that Alkeme AI controls, sponsors, or endorses the third party. Alkeme AI is not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, or practices. Review the applicable third-party terms before using an external service.
How should Alkeme AI information or recommendations be used?
Alkeme AI information is decision support for insurance professionals, and professional judgment and human review remain required.
The Website may describe broker-built insurance intelligence, display illustrative workflows, or show examples of Platform capabilities. Website Content and demonstrations are general information. They are not a quote, binder, policy, coverage determination, underwriting decision, claims decision, legal opinion, compliance opinion, or recommendation for a specific client.
If you are authorized to use the Platform, review any output under the agreement and controls governing that access. Before acting, qualified professionals should validate relevant source records, policy language, carrier guidance, underwriting criteria, client facts, applicable law, and internal procedures.
Do not rely on Website Content or an unreviewed automated output as the sole basis for placing or changing coverage, communicating regulated advice, handling a claim, selecting a market, binding insurance, or making a cancellation or nonrenewal decision.
Alkeme AI does not guarantee that information, recommendations, predictions, or identified opportunities will be complete, current, suitable, or free from error. It does not guarantee coverage availability, carrier appetite, retention, growth, savings, or another business result.
Additional information about relevant controls may be available on the Responsible AI and Security page. That page is informational and does not replace these Terms or an applicable Platform agreement.
What disclaimers apply when using the Website?
The Website and its Content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, subject to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALKEME AI DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, AND SECURITY.
Alkeme AI does not warrant that the Website will be uninterrupted, error-free, current, compatible with every system, or free from harmful components. Internet-based services carry inherent availability and security risks, and no transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Website Content is provided for general informational purposes and may become outdated. You are responsible for confirming information before relying on it. Nothing on the Website constitutes insurance, legal, tax, accounting, investment, cybersecurity, or regulatory advice.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties. In those jurisdictions, the exclusions apply only to the extent permitted by law.
What legal limitations apply?
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alkeme AI will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to the Website or these Terms.
This exclusion includes loss of profits, revenue, opportunity, goodwill, anticipated savings, business interruption, data, or use, even if Alkeme AI was advised that such loss might occur. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alkeme AI's aggregate direct liability arising solely from the Website or these Terms will not exceed the amounts, if any, you paid directly to Alkeme AI specifically for access to the Website during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
These limitations do not exclude liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Where a limitation is not enforceable, liability will be limited to the greatest extent the law permits.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Alkeme AI and its affiliates, personnel, licensors, and service providers from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Website, your violation of these Terms, or content you submit without the necessary rights or authority.
When may access to the Website be restricted?
Alkeme AI may suspend, restrict, or end access to the Website when reasonably necessary to address misuse, security concerns, legal requirements, operational changes, or violations of these Terms.
The Website or any feature may be changed, withdrawn, or made unavailable. Alkeme AI is not required to maintain any particular Website feature or Content. Provisions that by their nature should continue after access ends, including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limitations, and indemnification, will survive.
How may these Terms change?
Alkeme AI may revise these Terms by publishing an updated version on this page and providing any additional notice required by law.
Changes apply from the stated effective or updated date when one is published. Your continued use after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. Review this page periodically. A separate Platform agreement may establish a different change process for authenticated Platform use.
What other legal provisions apply?
These Terms and any policies expressly incorporated into them form the agreement governing use of the public Website. They do not replace a separate written agreement governing the Platform or another Alkeme AI service.
If a provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. Headings and summaries aid navigation but do not change the operative terms.
You may not assign rights or obligations under these Terms without prior written consent. Alkeme AI may assign these Terms as part of a reorganization, financing, merger, acquisition, or transfer of the relevant business or assets, subject to applicable law.
Where can you ask questions?
Questions about these Terms can be submitted through the verified contact page.
Do not send confidential client, policyholder, policy, claims, health, financial, or authentication information through a general inquiry unless the form specifically requests it and you are authorized to provide it. Summaries, headings, and the answers below are provided for convenience. The complete Terms above control.
